High Capacity Rectangular Tray Presses
Flexform QFC fluid cell presses (also known as bag presses, bladder presses or hydroform presses), have the largest forming capacity, with dual rectangular trays up to 8 square meters that can form parts well over 4 meters in length, as well as a large number of smaller parts in a single cycle.
Standard maximum pressures range from 800 bar (11,600 psi) to 1,400 bar (20,000 psi). Avure has over the years also supplied several rubber pad presses (also named the Guerin process, using a solid rubber pad). However, rubber pad pressing has severe technical limitations compared to the more versatile fluid cell press technology, leading to a preference for flexible rubber diaphragm forming.
