QUINTUS® technology
In the early 1960s, Avure pioneered and patented the QUINTUS wire winding concept, which is today widely regarded as the safest and most reliable pressure containment system ever designed. Pressure vessels and frames are prestressed and wound completely with high tensile cold-rolled spring steel ribbon. The prestressing causes the forged steel vessel wall to remain in residual compression, even when subjected to maximum loads. This results in extremely high resistance to fatigue, eliminates tensile loads and prevents crack propagation and brittle failure

Quality assured
Avure's outstanding safety record is due in great part to our company wide, fully documented quality management system that governs all phases of engineering, production, installation and field service. Avure helped to write the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel standard, which prescribes a leak- before-break design that precludes catastrophic failure. Every press we make complies fully with applicable international safety and quality standards, including:
- ISO-2001:2008 o ASME boiler and pressure code section VIII, divisions 2 and 3
- CE mark
- PED (Pressure Equipment Directive)
- Manufacturers license of special equipment to the People's Republic of China.
Field proven
Avure has installed more than 1700 high pressure systems worldwide, more than all other competitors combined. Many of these presses have been in service for more than 40 years, and some have surpassed 1 million cycles under high pressure. To keep these units in peak operating condition, Avure employs a full-time staff to provide global technical support. These experienced experts can identify and correct any abnormalities in the pressure system that may compromise safety or operating efficiency.
